From the owner of Submarine Salon in Beverly Hills, educational director for Paul Mitchell in New York City, and educator at Vidal Sassoon in London, Norman Zapien has climbed and mastered the pinnacles of the highest peaks in the industry and offers two prominent locations to serve you: Greensboro at Lake Oconee and Atlanta, in the prestigious neighborhood of Buckhead. Norman specializes in hair sculpting, and has traveled all over, learning from the best to be the best at what he does!
Robert Stanley started his professional journey as a student at Artistic Beauty College in Conyers, GA. Following graduation Robert worked at various salons in multiple states, gaining knowledge and leadership experience. In 2003, he decided to take his expertise to the next level and opened his own Salon in Frederick, MD, Stanley Salon. While owner and Master Stylist, Robert continued education for himself and his team to create a diverse platform for hair care by hosting and encouraging workshops and masterclasses with outside professionals on both Aveda and bumble&bumble brands. This included, obtaining certificates in master colourist, and offered registration in advanced classes for Wella in New York as well as Graham Webb in Arlington. Stanley Salon was featured in Frederick’s Best Magazine as the Top Salon two years in a row. Not only is Robert dedicated to his craft but he is also highly engaged in his community. Stanley salon was involved with charities such as Toys for Tots, disaster relief efforts, supporting vulnerable populations such as the Orlando nightclub shooting in 2016, and consistently supporting the Cut It Out Program on domestic abuse. After 18 great years and Robert’s devotion to his family, torn by conflicting loyalties, he decided to close the Salon to return to the Atlanta area where his parents reside. The move proved to be the right decision as not only he can be closer to his family but he also found himself in the wonderful environment of Zapien's Salon in Greensboro and Atlanta, GA.
Olivia Phillips, Master Cosmetologist, started her professional journey as a student at Athens Technical College in Athens, GA. Following graduation, Olivia worked with a couple of salons in the middle Georgia area before making her way to Zapien’s Salon. Her passion for the hair industry led her to continue her education gaining her Keratherapy Certification and training in a variety of hair extensions. Olivia is experienced with hand tied, machine weft, and tape-in hair extensions. She is still furthering her education in new techniques and different varieties of extensions! She occasionally does wedding up-do’s, styles and also specializes in blond-ing /lightning!
